Most large businesses employ a full time finance director to assist the business with its internal reporting and forecasting needs. Obviously for smaller businesses, however successful they are, it would not be cost effective to employ someone full time for this role. Budgets can be compiled and compared to actual results, being updated as and when necessary.
• Evaluating new projects – We are often asked to evaluate the financial viability of new projects undertaken by businesses. Using a number of techniques, Stones are able to provide you with an opinion on how successful a project could be, how profitable it could be potentially, as well as the amount of time it could take to repay any capital injected into it.
• Expanding / contracting your business – If you are interested in expanding your business through the purchase of another entity or trade, Stones can assist you in determining its likely profitability and success.
