Accounts Preparation and Statutory Audits

At Stones we prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and limited companies. Although many may consider this to be a necessary evil, we at Stones consider this an opportunity to provide our clients with accurate information regarding the performance and health of their business. It is important that any business which is intending to grow needs to prepare financial statements promptly after the year end. This allows business owners to make comparisons with previous years and make decisions for the future. Preparing accounts promptly can also identify potential problems before they are able to manifest themselves as a real cause for concern.

For those businesses that require an audit we are registered auditors with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This enables us to carry out audit work for a variety of entities, such as limited companies, FSA regulated entities and solicitors. We also undertake voluntary audit work, which can assist businesses in obtaining finance and credit terms from suppliers.
